5Easy to put together - no bungee cord to break!Nov 10, 2010
By Susan C
This is a great find! I am astonished that there are no other reviews of this mini-trampoline on Amazon (or anywhere else that I could find, for that matter)! I purchased this trampoline for my very active 4 year old boy, and we are very happy with the quality. I read reviews of all the other similar products on Amazon, and they shared two things in common: (1) difficult to assemble and (2) a bungee cord that breaks after heavy use. This trampoline does not have a bungee cord, instead the jumping surface comes pre-attached to the steel frame with about 16 heavy-duty straps. All you have to do is unpack it and attach the legs and handle, and you're ready to go! This trampoline will fold up for storage, although not flat. It folds up enough that we can store it in a closet if we want to.

3Should be called, "Completely Disassemble and Go" Trampoline"Dec 27, 2010
By Frank W.
Purchased this for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas. Fortunately I ordered it early because the price jumped $50 from November to Christmas Day. I had to give it 3 stars because it is rated up to 150 pounds which is important because we are a very tall family and my 5 year old is already over 4 ft tall with the weight that goes with that. I wanted her to be able to use it longer than a year and it looks like she will be able to do that because it looks very sturdy. However, the misleading name of "Fold and Go" and the construction of it made me want to give it 1 star. It would have been easy to put together if 1) the directions were clearer and 2) the holes were drilled properly. All was good in the construction until we realized that the holes that are drilled in the handle and the sleeve on the trampoline where the handle fit into were not aligning. We tried switching the bars around to see if it made any difference, but it did not. Thankfully my husband is insanely strong, so with him forcing the handle down with all of his body weight while I tried to fit the bolt into the holes, we were able to assemble it. There is absolutely no way I could have done it alone without getting a drill bit to drill through the heavy metal bars and widen the opening for the bolt. This was true for all four of the bolts. The other construction issue is that the blue nylon type skirt that goes around the edge has a drawstring type of thing to secure it. This wasn't mentioned anywhere in the instructions and I didn't realize what the string was for until the skirt was completely assembled and latched on which took a bit of time, lacing 6 bungee cords underneath through small openings. Once that was done the skirt was too tight to pull the drawstring and it would have taken much too long to unlace and relace all the bungees so we just tied the uneven drawstring and wrapped it around one of the legs.

If all that wasn't bad enough, here's my biggest issue. THIS TRAMPOLINE DOES NOT "FOLD". Yes, yes, I know now that if I had carefully read the product description it does say that to "fold" it up you have to remove the legs and handle, but silly me assumed that would be an easy task. Certainly the legs screw off easily enough but there isn't enough incentive in the world to get me to try and remove that handle after all the hassle it took to get it on in the first place. The #2 reason we chose this model (aside from the 150 pound limit) was that we thought we'd be able to fold it up and put it out of the way when not in use. Very misleading. This does not fold at all.

5Extremely pleasedDec 04, 2010

I have a 3 year old, 40 pounds, who needed some winter exercise. Found this at local toy store at comparable price with coupon, considering shipping. Best features: rated for 150#, 6 legs for stability, no springs, folds down small, easy assembly, sturdy considering it folds. Limitations: it takes 2 people to fold (but at least it can be done), not good on hardwood, and any trampoline is a tip-over risk, esp with a handle. She loves it with toddler radio- it is a nightly ritual. My furniture is saved and she sleeps well = happy mama.

4Too strong for the lightweightsJan 09, 2011
By Janice Kendrick "super picky consumer"
Hooray for Amazon reviews that steered me away from similar items that required blood, sweat and tears to assemble. This trampoline is quite easy to set up, since the mesh is already stretched onto the frame, and just requires folding (grunt, grunt) it open. Hooking the safety cover is somewhat challenging due to vague instructions, but it appears I guessed correctly how to hook the little elastic and knob bits thru the openings underneath. Another customer had problems attaching the screws for the handle; mine was a breeze, no alignment issue at all. I always start all of a set of screws by hand before gradually tightening each one in series.
Extremely well-made product, which is ironically where the one star is deducted by me. This trampoline says it can hold a 150+ pound "child" which indeed, it can. I'd guess any adult could find it perfectly functional for many years. Sadly, when my little one (27 pounds) tries to bounce on it, she just isn't heavy enough to have much effect. Oh well. She does like hanging off the bar, and it's quite stable.
It does take two people to manage to fold it back up, so the "fold and go" concept is a bit of a stretch, as it requires complete disassembly to "go" back in the box. Still, do-able in about 10 minutes.

And fyi, watch the price on this product, and who's selling it, as it can vary quite a bit.

1DANGEROUS!Dec 27, 2010
By H. E. Q. Lane
Bought this from the manufacturer's website. It shipped to us quickly, in time for Christmas. My husband put it together and we thought we were ready to go. There it was under the tree Christmas morning, much to the delight of our 3 1/2 year old, from whom it was primarily intended, with the ability to accommodate her older sisters as well (ages 8 and 6 1/2) because of the higher weight capabilities. We had spent many hours looking for a tramp that would not be a big tip-over risk and chose this one because of others' reviews. While we understand that any tramp with a handle has a tip-over risk, we were not prepared for the thing to actually start tipping when our child took a few modest bounces on it -- thankfully, my husband cayght the tramp before it went over. No way could this be safe and stable if she was bouncing at her full -- and desired! -- ability. We are now fighting with the vendor because they want to charge us a restocking fee in addition to return shipping. We had high hopes for this item as we live in s snowy area and really want to have an outlet for our kids' energies when the cold prevents them from being outside, but this is not a safe option (we've gone through 3 inflatable bouncers in four years -- they all get holes even though we are very careful with them). We are ALL disappointed.
