Works great I bought two one for a 15 month boy who would quickly stop crying when it is turned on, it also did not take him very long to figure out how to to turn it back on after it turns off every time he wakes back up. same for our 3 year old girl who had issues of sleeping in her own room untill I purchased this.
This was our second purchase of the turtle & ladybug that we gave as gifts to others because they work so well.

Twilight Turtle and Ladybug have been one of the best purchases I have made for my children. It is absolutely magical for little ones, and is enjoyable for adults also. I bought this for my two sons who are nine year old twins, one of which is severely Autistic. I honestly wish I had bought them years ago, because they love them. My son who is Autistic is very hard to shop for, but the purchas of the Twilight Ladybug has brought him so much joy. While the shell is hard, the head, legs, and underbody are soft. My son sits and pets the head of the lady bug, and then spends a few moments choosing the perfect color for that given night. Then as he goes to sleep, he sits and strokes its little head and legs. It makes me smile. My other son has the Turtle, and adores it. Each of the Twilight animals comes with a little guide showing the different constellations, and he will sit and find those constellations before he dozes off to sleep. The Turtle and Ladybug blanket a beautiful display of stars over the entire room. (walls and ceiling) It makes it an absolute magical place for children to go to sleep. There are no arguments at bedtime now. The boys seem to look forward to bedtime now. Battery life is extremely long with the Twilight animals. We have had them for a couple of weeks, and they have been used everynight, quite a bit during the days, and I am yet to replace the batteries. I would definitely recommend the Twilight animals to anyone.

My daughter loves her Ladybug night light. She can change the colors on it and look at the stars and moon in the sky. I like it because I use it as a distraction when she does not want to go to bed and a way to see her in her crib at night without having to turn on the light. I highly recommend this product. My niece likes playing with it when she comes over so I am giving her the turtle one for Christmas.

My two year old granddaughter will not go to bed without her Lady Bug and plays with it during the day when she puts her "babies to bed". She doesn't understand or care about the constellations yet, nor does my 15 month old grandson who wants the turtle at naptime and bedtime - he likes to gaze into the turtle's back at the "stars" and change the colors. My 5 yr old grandson liked my turtle so much, he got the Sea turtle and it is the only "non-dinosaur" critter he allows on his bed. He doesn't fully understand about the constellations yet either, but he likes having "the twinkle stars shine over him at night." Needless to say, our family is sold on them all.

This was a great buy!! My son spends the night with grandma & grandpa twice a month and he needed another turtle light for their house. And with the birth of our new baby girl, we needed a ladybug light for her room. This was the perfect way to buy the both of them!
