I was very disappointed in this Carter nursery suit. This is my second baby and since we pretty much did everything simple for the first we wanted to continue with our second. We did however decide to go with a carter nursery because we used carter clothes so much with my first and have loved the brand.
Well this nursery outfit was horrible. When we got it sent I liked the colors. So it was time to wash everything and set up the nursery. The thing practically came apart. There was so much lint on the bumper etc that I have a very hard time getting it off. I vacuumed it and lint brushed and still ended up picking some lint off with my fingers. I thought it was a blanket that I washed with it but it was the bumper shedding. Then because of the lint cleaning the I noticed that the stitching on the pattern started coming undone. It made the first wash look like I had used it for generations. Not to mention even after following the washing directions it shrank! Hard to put on and the bumper didnt even cover the crib correctly. Will not be buying another Carter nursery outfit!

This crib bedding set has met all the requirements that I was looking for in crib bedding - I wanted high quality for a great price. I am also a huge fan of handmade quilting, and this quilt is soft and well made similar to a handmade quilt.... I'm sure my great-Aunts will be asking me who made it for me! This is a beautiful set, and the matching accesories are great too! I'm only disappointed I didn't find something like this for my daughter when I had her - I spent nearly $500 for her handmade bedding. I would have much rather bought a girly set made by carters if I knew the quality was this great!!

Cot bumper does not have washable cover!Nov 12, 2011

The set is cute, quality is fine. However, I specifically wanted a cot bumper that the fabric could be removed and washed. This one advertised that feature but the cover is stitched to the padding and you have to wash the whole thing. It takes forever to dry so how do you do that when your kid naps 3 times a day...? Would not buy again for this reason.

This bedding is very cute. The blanket has visible stitching the looks quilted and detail on the bright, colorful dots. The giraffes are super soft and the multi-colored stripes around the edges add more colors to the bedding. It seems well made and the matching receiving blankets are also very cute.

Most of the crib sets are too cutesy and cartoonish. This set is great because it is not over-the-top cutesy or some bizarre cartoon like animal. The colors on this are great. My wife and I loved the four piece set so much that we bought all the rest of the items to match. The dark brown background really makes the other colors pop and they look great! Too bad it looks like it is being discontinued. Buy it before it is no longer available!
