Carter mobile reviewJun 25, 2011
By Olive's toys Great mobile for baby! Only complaint is spin time.... A full twist of the "spinner" gives you all of about 60 seconds of music and action. Maybe battery power would be more efficient... As far as quality of toy and material...A+!

Flawed but cuteJan 27, 2012
By Bella11 Okay, as someone who actually uses this regularly, I'll tell you what's wrong with it: the animals will often get stuck at the giraffe's neck, causing the mobile to stop turning. They come just a hair too close to the fabric. To fix it, I rolled up the neck part to above the point where the animals are rotating. Now it looks stupid, but at least it turns, which is important in getting my baby's attention. Then there's the spinner timer being way short. Makes me feel like I'm constantly racing it so I can get something done before it has to be wound up again. Also, in retrospect, getting a mobile that hangs above the crib was a dumb idea. Babies usually will look to the side, so a product that attaches to the side of the crib probably would've been more useful early on. My baby didn't start paying much attention to this mobile until she was about a month old. Keep in mind that this will need to be removed when baby is 4-5 months old, so given the price of the item, you'd want to get as much use out of it as possible.
At the end of the day though, it is cute, and it entertains my baby for a few minutes. Sometimes she giggles at it, so I know she likes it.

Love it!Apr 26, 2011
By NewMom I love this mobile - VERY CUTE! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars, instead of 5, is that once my baby can sit up, I have to take it down, because it is too dangerous then (just like any mobile). So in theory, I can use it until she is about 5 months - and she will be in a bassinet until about 2 months. Still - just adorable!
very adorableApr 23, 2012
By mommyof3 Absolutely love it!! Very happy with how it looks in person! Bought this to go with the bedding set for my baby girl we will be having next month and more than satisfied with it.
Awful!Apr 15, 2012
By Leogirl I had to return his item...first time in my history of many purchases on Amazon that I did so. Would not stay on my pottery barn crib well at all. The slightest movement (such as turning the dial to get the mobile spinning) and it would dislodge. From all my efforts to tighten the mobile, I ended up with scrathces on my brand new crib. And when i finally got it to stay in place and tried to get it spinning, the animals kept getting caught on the neck and it wonuldn't sspin properly. Do not waste your money!
