Really Cool, Horribly ImpracticalMar 02, 2010
By Trevor Lockley I purchased this knife as a pure impulse buy, for $10 it is well worth the price. One thing that anyone who buys this knife absolutely MUST keep in mind, is that this IS NOT something for casual carry. This knife is huge compared to a Gerber Powerframe, and is more than likely to get you ARRESTED if drawn in public.
Overall the knife is fairly well built, the blade is of acceptable quality steel, though this is by no means a serious knife. Upon arrival there was a noticeable nick in the sharpened edge of the blade towards the hinge. The handle of the knife is made of Aluminum, that being said the white sections of the handle are nothing more than cheap plastic, and the handle has absolutely no weight to it at all. The blade itself is fairly sharp upon arrival though it would be a good idea to sharpen it before any moderate use as it takes a fair amount of force to cut even simple tie line.
Bottom line, this is fun in your own home, but it is useless as a serious knife.

Unique blade...Apr 13, 2009

So, this knife isn't for everyone. It's bigger than I expected, not really a casual carry knife. It is very stylish, and any one that sees you open it will want to take a look - it's that unique. Strong blade, sharp edge, a sturdy tool to keep in the shop, at your desk, in your camping box or car. A great value at the prices I've seen it offered at here!

a very interesting piece.Apr 25, 2010

it may be very flashy, but I would definitely not be one to carry it with me. the blade is much larger than expected, and is nearly the length of the handle itself. the handle is not made of plastic as some of the others said, only the white ridged part on the back of the handle. the rest is some sort of metallic substance which i could care less to research. it does come very sharp(i dropped it a few times on my hand, it did a number on my wrist)and my blade didn't close when i swung it violently. but all in all, I read the reviews and got it. I was definitely satisfied.
