Sturdy handles are woven onto the basket. The handle is actually "one piece" that goes down both sides and under the bottom. Although this basket includes handles, we do not recommend carrying the basket with your baby in it for safety reasons. My 4 month old son has been sleeping in this basket since he was born and love it. It's great that I can put him high on the kitchen table to keep my 2 year olds fingers out of his face. i also like that it' s cozy I la my son down in it all the time wile doing dishes or laundry and he will lay there and laugh and smile. The fabric is very soft and the mattress is fine but nothing special. i highly recommend this basket. The canopy adds shade and seem to entertain my little guy.

Awful! The hood does not stay on the basket because it is attached to the liner with velcro. The handles are attached to the basked with zip ties... Total waste of money.

This basket is beautiful! I bought it for my grandson. He weighed 9 lbs when he was born so he needed a biggger basket and this one is big enough that he can use it for a while. I would recommend this basket to anyone who wanted a nice beautiful larger moses basket.

We bought this Moses basket and have been using it for about 2 weeks with our 4th daughter. The basket is sturdy and does what we want it to do. There are probably nicer moses baskets out there but this one does the job especially for the price.

I bought this for my niece's baby shower. I used it to place all of the smaller wrapped gifts I had purchased into. I replaced the white ribbon in the hood with a prettier pink one. It was placed on the gift table and everyone commented how cute it was. Since she is having a girl I plan to buy the baby a doll when she is old enough and she can use this to play with. I was very happy with this purchase.
